Maintenance and steeper terrain
Of course, the only disadvantage of seeding can be that it is relatively sparse, which can be easily corrected either by our company or by the customer himself with fertilizer. We also guarantee our work to ensure the quality of the spreading.
When applying the seed, the customer, in order to optimize the result, must keep the mixture moist. This simply means watering for about a few minutes per area, the frequency depending on the heat. Water at least twice a day.
The peat must be watered abundantly for several hours a day as soon as it is installed, each watered sector must be watered until it is “pierced with water”. In addition, the soil must be wet, which can be +/- 1 hour per sector several times a day. Also, when laying peat on a steep slope, it must be staked to prevent it from moving. In the case of hydroseeding, it only requires a different application technique that is more economical in terms of time and money. This technique prevents the turf from sliding and considerably reduces the risk of erosion.
